Pre-BEDA

So. April starts tomorrow. If you didn't know.

That means BEDA. Blog EveryDay in April. Which I will try to do.

Maybe.

A bit.

It will probably be a bit random in terms of blog types. I have a lot of cool ideas but not a lot of time so things will be put off.

Also, I'm sorry to say, but for BEDA the "What's Coming, Molli?" box will be suspended, as you know new things will be here everyday and each will be a surprise.

Also also, there are a ton of really really cool blogs to also read this month, two of my all-time favorite blogs being:

and

http://hayleyghoover.blogspot.com/ ...although I don't know if she's doing BEDA. She has in the past though.

So, I'll see you tomorrow, I guess.

Keep on keepin' on,

Introduction to the BunnyMonster

Dear wonderful-internet-people:

STOP READING THIS. STOP. RIGHT NOW.

I'M SERIOUS.

To the readers with a death wish, I will explain. I have a nemesis, you see. It's a horrible creature, with large, menacing eyes, and a tendency to eat everything in it's path. I'll link to you a picture. Click at your own risk.

Terrifying, correct?

And his name...is the BunnyMonster.

The BunnyMonster is constantly after me...and anyone who dares to speak his name is at risk...

I'm on the run right now, I will post more when I can. Know this, dear readers:

Poetry You Say?

I wrote this in roughly 2 minutes to meet my deadline. So it's pretty bad. Ehh, whateverrrrrrr.
Also, it maybe, eventually be a song. But, it's pretty bad. Maybe i'll work on it in the future.

Some Sorta Sign

So yeah, I see
the way you look at me.
It's kinda frightening
like fireworks, like lightening.

It may sound a little off,
but I've been know to be soft.
Looks like someones there for me,
I'm sure you will agree.

And I'm scared to go through - this time -
and I know this wont be the last line,
but I fear though this very rhyme,
that this is not some sorta sign.
Some sorta sign.
____________

Alright. So. That's that.

Maybe I'll have a story clip posted. Maybe. But they take a long time to write, so you have to be nice. (If you don't know what a story clip is, you can look at the blog post called "The End". That's an example of one.)

Alright, beautiful. Keep on keepin' on.

REPROGRAMMING.

OKAY. HELLO.

I haven't been on here on like 2 weeks, and I'm sorry. So things are about to change.

Im going to get rid of The Song Of The Day. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but it was time consuming and kinda pointless. I will post song recommendations every once and a while - my music tastes will not be forgotten!

I do want to post more, though. Maybe some poetry, song lyrics that I'm working on, story clips and so on. So that's going to happen.

The "What's Coming, Molli?" box (scroll to the bottom of the home page) is going to be a little different. Instead of giving exact dates of 5 or 6 upcoming posts, I'm going to put up the TWO POSTS that will ALWAYS be posted that week. It's won't be giving what day, but rest assured, if you check it every week, new stuff will posted. THIS DOESN'T MEAN I WILL ONLY POST TWO THINGS A WEEK. Who knows, I may want to spice things up.

Yum.

Alright kids,
Until next time, keep on keepin' on.

Song Of The Day 3/9 and 3/10

Yes, yes, I missed yesterday - very sorry, I was a little sick. Well, here we are, and I present you with TWO songs for your reading and listening pleasure.

Those songs?

Here It Goes Again - Ok Go and Earn Enough For Us - XTC

Both these songs makes me dance in parking lots. Lyrics? Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics.

Here It Goes Again - Ok Go

It could be ten, but then again, I can't remember half an hour since a quarter to four.
Throw on your clothes, the second side of Surfer Rosa, and you leave me with my jaw on the floor.
Just when you think you're in control,
just when you think you've got a hold,
just when you get on a roll,
here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.
I should have known,
should have known,
should have known again,
but here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.
It starts out easy, something simple, something sleazy, something inching past the edge of the reserve.
Now through lines of the cheap venetian blinds your car is pulling off of the curb.
Just when you think you're in control,
just when you think you've got a hold,
just when you get on a roll,
here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.
I should have known, should have known,
should have known again,
but here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.
I guess there's got to be a break in the monotony, but Jesus, when it rains how it pours.
Throw on your clothes, the second side of Surfer Rosa, and you leave me, yeah, you leave me.
Oh, here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh here it goes again.
I should have known, should have known,
should have known again,
but here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

Earn Enough For Us - XTC

I've been praying all the week through
At home, at work and on the bus
I've been praying I can keep you
And to earn enough for us

I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us

Found a house that won't repair itself
With it's windows cracking
And a roof held together with holes
Just because we're at the bottom of the ladder
We shouldn't be sadder
Than others like us
Who have goals for the betterment of life
Glad that you want to be my wife, but honest
I've been praying all the week through
At home at work and on the bus
I've been praying I can keep you
And to earn enough for us

So you're saying that we're going to be three
Now, a father's what I'll be
Don't get me wrong, I'm so proud
But the belt's already tight
I'll get another job at night, but honest

I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us
Just because we're at the bottom of the ladder
We shouldn't be sadder
Than others like us
Who have goals for the betterment of life
Glad that you want to be my wife, but honest

I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the Boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us
I can earn enough for us

Song Of The Day 3/8

Hey y'all.

LOOK!
A SONG!
OF THE DAY!

...overkill, right? Too bad.

Alright, the new song of the day issss.....

Lazy Sunday by Nickasaur!

The electronic gets a lot of hate, but I do like the genre and this, while certainly electronic sounding, will appeal to the people still on the fence.

Lyrics? Okay, okay, sheesh.

Lazy Sunday - Nickasaur!

It's a lazy Sunday, and i'm stayin' inside;
to watch Good Morning LA.

As I notice the birds are tweetin',
with the sun creepin ,
out of my window.

I'll cook you some breakfast, sunny-side up,
but you just lay there and don't you get up.
Gonna hit the town, down around two,
so when the one hits the 30 thats your cue.
To get movin', we gotta get movin',
or were you sayin', you wanted to stay at the Day-Inn?
and leave the rest up to me and you.

It's a lazy Sunday, and were going outside;
let's not waste this beautiful day.

I see you layin',
you really wanna be playin',
to show a little displayin' of love.

We'll toss and turn, as you listen and learn,
as we lay on the bed.
Don't fall asleep, dont count your sheep,
even if it may be 10 to 2.

But just remember it's me and you time;
your more than a friend, like my partner in crime.
Just go to bed, thats alright;
I'll stay up and make sure the bed bugs wont bite.

It's a lazy sunday, and were going to bed;
say goodnight to the moon.

You can use your imagination,
for tonight's vacation,
'till monday afternoon.

Until tomorrow,
Keep on keepin' on,
-Molli <3

Some Old Poems

Stuff I thought I would post.

Hat

Ummm. So, hi. Yes.
So, umm, I may have seen you around the corner,
just for a moment, you know.
And, uhh, you may have been wearing that hat...
you know, the hat! We got it at the fair.
Last year.
And, well, uhh.
It looks different from far away, you know?
makes me think you should have thrown it out.
Maybe.
and it makes me wonder who's seen you in that hat.
and it looks black from where i'm standing -
I always thought it was green. Deep green.
And i think maybe I was meant to see you,
and maybe i was mean to see your new, black hat.
because maybe you never wanted your old, green hat.
I liked that hat.
And maybe I shouldn't have been walking to the corner tonight.
And maybe you should have thrown out my hat.
You know, Maybe.

Rain

Do you remember when it rained?
Of course you do, it was September.
We ran outside in shorts and screamed at the wind.
Do you remember?
How that raindrop would hit your temple and roll down
to your chin and fall off?
Do you?

Do you remember when it rained?
Of course you do, it was April.
You ran from me, outside,
to make me think that the tears in your eyes were raindrops.
Do you remember?
That I had to pin your arms so you wouldn't keep running
until you broke down and sobbed into my shoulder?
Do you?

Do you remember when it rained?
Of course you do, it was July.
We laid in the liquid grass as we watched the warm water hit our bones.
Do you remember?
I took off my sweatshirt and put the wet cloth over us,
as if it would do any good?
Do you?

Do you remember when it rained?
Of course you do, it was September.
You dragged me outside at midnight and stood in the middle of the road.
Do you remember?
You almost fell asleep standing up, because you refused to go back inside,
because watching the rain fall and the sparks fly were all you needed?
Do you?

CrazyBeautiful

You're just so crazybeautiful.
You'd never believe it,
thats just the person you are.
But it's okay, because
I know that you're just so
crazybeautiful.
I see it when you're laughing,
and I notice it when you're
sleeping and I love the fact that
you're just so crazybeautiful.

And She. And He.

And she has always been sad.
And she has always been alone.
And he'd always tried to be there.
And she wont let him.
And she knows its not going to work.
And she knows no matter what it seems, hes not really there.
And he wants to make her believe.
And she knows she's not worth it.
And she wants to be.
And she wants to be.
And he wants to be.
And he wants to be.
And she wishes he was really there.
And he wishes she could see him.
And she wants him.
And he loves her.

Because You're A Jerk. And I Hate You.

ecause you're a jerk.
And I hate you.

You obviously don't care,
Care how i'm feeling.
You obviously don't give it a second thought,
a second thought when you say something rude.
Because you're a jerk.
And I hate you.

You obviously think you,
come first in any situation.
You obviously never understand,
understand why I keep leaving.
Because you're a jerk,
And I hate you.

And you obviously want,
want me to be happy with the little things you do.
And you obviously love,
love me and want me to stay.
Because you're a jerk.
And I can't hate you.

Song Of The Day 3/7

Alright, the musician for today's SOTD may sound a little familiar. You aren't going crazy (well...), Mike's been on here before. This is just a testament to how great he is.

The song of the day is Caroline by Mike Lombardo.

This was originally written for The Masters if Song Fu competition put on by QuickStop entertainment (You'll see a reference to QuickStop in the song). It didn't win, which is a shame, because this is a really cute song. It's cheesy, yes, but it's a sweet song that's fun to sing to.

Lyrics time!

Caroline - Mike Lombardo

I knew since I came awake
that today was a special day
yeah, it was
I left the office in a blur
she knows I'm coming home to her
yeah she does

and it's a shame that nobody knows this thing that we got
but we'll be the same way
no matter if they know it or not
so it doesn't really matter cause
Me and Caroline
we're gonna take the car down the road
we'll go wherever she wants to go
and we'll make it home in time
to turn the radio way down low
and baby, we'll pour the wine
just me and caroline

i took a turn on 23rd
and I was singing with the birds
in the trees
I made a quick stop at the store
to bring some flowers home before
we roll free

and it's a shame that nobody knows this thing that we got
but we'll be the same way
no matter if they know it or not
so it doesn't really matter cause
Me and Caroline
we're gonna take the car down the road
we'll go wherever she wants to go
and we'll make it home in time
to turn the radio way down low
and baby, we'll pour the wine
just me and caroline

Ah, Mike, how you melt my heart.

Keep rockin' it.

Movie Speeches

I present to you today two of my favorite movie speeches. I loveee these movies and the themes are sorta the same - the lack of ability to communicate.

So here they are - both impressive movies, both interesting topics, and both horribly fun to recite.

Robin Williams, Good Will Hunting - If I asked you about art you'd probably give me the skinny on every art book ever written. Michelangelo. You know a lot about him. Life's work. Political aspirations. Him and the pope. Sexual orientations. The whole works, right? But I bet you can't tell me what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel."

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) - "Great principles don't get lost once they come to light. They're right here. You just have to see them again...You think I'm licked. You all think I'm licked. Well, I'm not licked. And I'm going to stay right here and fight for this lost cause, even if this room gets filled with lies like these; and the Taylors and all their armies come marching into this place. Somebody will listen to me."

Song Of The Day 3/6

NEWSONGOFTHEDAYOKAY?

Okay. The song of the day is...

wait for it...

Panama - Van Halen

Yes, I know, Van Halen gets some flack because of the unorthodox-ness associated with it (have you seen the hair?), but I really love this song. It makes me wanna beat drumsticks on the dashboard of my dad's car.

Lyrics? Whatever you say.

Panama - Van Halen

Uh!
Oh yeah!
Ah-huh!

Jump back, what's that sound?
Here she comes, full blast'n top down
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue
Model citizen, zero discipline

Don't you know she's coming home with me
You'll lose her in that turn
I'll get her!

Panama, Panama
Panama, Panama

Ain't nothin' like it, it's a shining machine
Got the feel for the wheel, keep the movin' parts clean
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue
Got an on-ramp comin' through my bedroom

Don't you know she's coming home with me
You'll lose her in that turn
I'll get her
oh!

Panama, Panama
ow!
Panama, Panama
oh-oh-oh-oh
Woo!

[Guitar Solo]

Yeah, we're runnin' a little bit hot tonight
I can barely see the road from the heat comin' off
know what I'm sayin'
uhh, I reach down between my legs n' ease the seat back

She's runnin', I'm flyin'
Right behind in the rearview mirror now
Got the fearin', power steerin'
Pistons poppin', ain't no stoppin' now

Panama, Panama
Panama, Panama
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Panama, Panama
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Panama!

Just a totally awesome song.
Keep it rockin'

Song Of The Day 3/5

New song coming at 'cha. Get ready.

The song is "Maybe" by The Perfect Measure. It's one of my favorite love songs, with a great message and doesn't go overboard.

Lyrics? Okay.

Maybe - The Perfect Measure

Maybe I'll find you here,
Just maybe,
I'll find you.

Maybe we could fly away,
To our special place,
We wouldn't give it away,
No we wont give it away,

I swear that I wouldn't breathe,
But I promise that I'll believe,

Cause there's a place for you here,
There's a place for you, my dear,
I should have said this from the start,
That there's a place for you here,
In my heart.

Maybe the sight of your face,
Would blow all my tears away,
Just maybe,
It'll blow them away,
But maybe we'll sit and just talk,
About life, about love,
We can fly like a dove if you want,
Away from here,

I swear that I wouldn't breathe,
But I promise that I'll believe,

Cause there's a place for you here,
There's a place for you, my dear,
I should have said this from the start,
But there's a place for you here,
In my heart.

Maybe,
Just maybe,
Just maybe for now,
Just maybe for now.

Take a step back,
Try your best to free,
Maybe it's not ment to be,
And just promise you wont forget me.

Cause there's a place for you here,
There's a place for you, my dear,
I should have said this from the start,
But there's a place for you here,
In my heart (x3)

Hope you check it out - it's worth it.

Keep rockin' it.

Climate Change and You're An Idiot.

As a principle, I make it a standard to accept anyone. I don't care how you look, what religion or ethnicity you are, where you live, your love of Justin Beiber, or your lack of understanding Steven Colbert. But I won't accept people who don't believe in climate change.

Granted, I judge people on their views all the time - but that doesn't mean I won't accept them - i'm just rude. But not believing in climate change? Are you kidding me?

I take Environmental Science at school. I take it with a bunch of kids who didn't want to take Chemistry (which I understand, I wish I hadn't taken it), or people who need another credit to graduate and heard it was easy. Because of this, I have to deal with being the only kid in the class who cares about the content. I also have to deal with the annoying kid who doesn't believe any of it is real who sits three places over from me.

Let me just explain something quickly: CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR FREAKING OPINIONS ARE - IT'S SCIENCE. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO SAY THAT IT'S A "NATURAL PROCESS" OR THAT "THE DATA WAS FORGED", IT WON'T CHANGE THAT GLOBAL WARMING IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING.

So, kid in class - you are stupid. I don't care how much you scream about drilling Alaska and shooting stuff into space, you will always just be stupid, and I'm going to judge and not accept you AS I PLEASE.

Alright, just needed to get that out.

Song Of The Day 3/4

Ready for the song of the day?

Good. I'm glad.

The song of the day is "Locked Out" by Mike Lombardo. It is really profound, with amazing imagery, and the piano is excellent.

Lyrics? Lyrics.

Locked Out - Mike Lombardo

I'm sitting out here on my own
with the moth around the front porch lamp that shines behind me
it's funny how you'd never know
that your home is really not your home
if you forget the key

you said you'd be home soon
but I don't want to wait that long
you said you'd be home soon
but I'm locked out.

I'm sitting out here on my own
does everybody else feel just as empty?
Are you happy when there's nothing left to own?
Or is there something deep inside that's more than I can see?

and I've been standing here for years and years
just drowning all my fears with self control
and now I think there might be something more
than waiting for the years to take their toll

I'm sitting out here on my own
I see your headlights on the pavement as you pull into the driveway
it's funny how you'd never know
that your life is really not your life
if you forget the key
and I'm locked out.

I think this song shows a real insight on abandonment, which is something you don't usually get nowadays.

I'm glad it exists.

The End

Two girls stood at the edge of a large lake. It was dusk and slightly cold, so they stood with their arms around each other, bare toes barely touching the waters edge.

The first girl stood tall, long blond hair hanging off her shoulders, eyes blazing past the lake to the trees on the other side. The second girl was slightly shorter with cropped black hair, her face sunk into the crook of the blonds neck, not daring to look at her surroundings.

They stood, silently, for a long time. When the second girl finally spoke what she had been thinking, she did it in a small, weak voice, just loud enough for her companion to hear.

"When it's all over," she said quietly, "when we make it through, will we be here, or there?" The first girl raised her eyebrows.

"Huh. I never even thought about that." The blond's eyes flashed quickly to the tree's, and then back down at the water's edge.

"Really?" Came the first voice. "That's all I can think about." She shifted a little, putting the majority of her weight on her left foot, and then her right. The blond stood quiet for another moment. She kissed the top of her sister's head.

"Well, the good news in that wherever we end up is where we're supposed to go, so there's no need to worry about it."

FIN.
